Već sam nekoliko puta vidjela sliku ovoga. I, osim što mi je super izgledalo, zamišljala sam kakav bi to okus mogao biti i zaključila sam da je najbolje da isprobam i vidim ;) Kombinacija paprika i jaja mi se jako svidjela, a još kad sam kiselo vrhnje dodala - to je bilo to! Ljubav na prvi okus. Znala sam da će mi ovo postati doručak/ručak/večera za sve one dane kada neću imat puno vremena a htjet ću pojesti nešto toplo.
Nema nekog recepta za ovo: Paprike narežite na kolutiće i stavite ih peći na ulje. U najveće kolutove dodajte po jedno jaje. Jaja zalijevajte vrućim uljem iz tavice. Posolite, popaprite i uživajte u okusu! :)






I saw a picture of this few times. It looked good to me and I started to think about the taste of it, and decided that the best way is to try to make some. I really liked the combination of eggs with peppers and than I add some sour cream – and that was that. Love on first taste. I knew that this will be my breakfast/lunch/dinner for all those days when I won't have much time but would want to eat something warm.
There isn't some special recipe for this: Cut peppers into rings and put them on a hot oil. In the largest ring add one egg and treat this like an ordinary poached egg. Add salt & pepper and enjoy! :)


Kad sam prvi put probala štrudlu sa ručno razvučenim tijestom, bila sam oduševljena. Kako je moguće da netko može razvući tijesto tako tanko? Inače, obožavam sve vrste - krumpirušu, zeljanicu, sirnicu.. te burek! Za koji se u mojoj obitelji kaže ad su sve pite pitice, a burek je pitac!
Odlučila sam naučiti razvlačiti tijesto. Tjedan dana - svaki dan pita za ručak i vrsna učiteljica, ujnina mama, koja je imala strpljenja otkriti mi poneki trik :)

Ne znam da li je moguće naučiti razvlačiti tijesto preko recepta. Kako god, trebat će vam 1kg brašna (namjenskog ili glatkog), pola šalice ulja, vode po potrebi i oko žlica soli. (može i sa 1/2 kg brašna).
Od toga zamijesite tijesto, podijelite na 4 dijela (ako je 1kg brašna), nauljite svaki dio te pustite da odstoji 15-30 min. Ako je loptica tijesta tvrđa, pustite da odstoji duže. Nakon toga morate sami pronaći nekakvu tehniku kako bi zavukli tu lopticu u tanki sloj (tako da vidite stol ispod), najbolje je krenuti od sredine i vući prema van.
Kada to uspijete, nauljite površinu (tijesto) i dalje je vaš izbor što ćete umotat: jabuke, višnje, krumpir, sir, meso, kupus...

Ovaj put sam izabrala jabuke. Naribane, pošećerene te posipane cimetom. Pećnica na 200 stupnjeva i za pola sata je gotovo:

When I first tried strudel with hand-streched dough I was thrilled. How is it possible that someone could streched dough so thin? I adore all kind of strudel -  with potato, greens, cheese...and with meat. In my family we said that there is no strudel like strudel with meat.

So, I decided to learn how to hand-streched dough. One week – every day there was a strudel for lunch and excellent teacher, my aunt's mom, who had patience to reveal to me few tricks. :)

I'm not sure if it is possible to learn how to hand-streched dough through recipe. However,' you will need 1 kg all purpose flour, ½ cup of oil, water as needed and about 1 tbs salt. Mix it all together (with hands, not mixer) until you get your dough. Split the dough on 4 parts, and soak in oil every part and let it rest for 15-30 minutes. If the dough is stiffer, let it rest longer. After resting you'll need to find your own technique for streching the dough so thin you can see your table through it. The best way is to start streching from the middle, pulling out.
When you can manage that, oil the surface (dough) and the rest is your choice about the filling. You can fill with apples, potatos, cheese, cherry, meat, greens...

This time I chose apples. Grated, sugered and sprinkled with cinnamon. Oven on 200 degrees C., and in 30 minutes it's done.


Za one koje vole kolače, ali i za one koji ne vole baš slatke kolače, cheesecake je idealno riješenje. Zadnji put kad sam radila cheesecake, jedva sam uspjela sakriti komad kako bi ga slikala.. nestao je doslovno u tren oka.




Ja volim raditi kolače pa mi nije komplicirano napraviti ga, iako za ovu tortu treba par sastojaka kojih nemam obično doma pa mi to predstavlja veći problem nego sama izrada ;)

Ono što trebate imati kako bi uživali u okusu je:

Kora - jednostruko pakiranje tiber keksi, 175 g maslaca, 1-2 žlice šećera
Žuta krema - 200g Philadelphia sira, 200g Ricotta sira, 3 cijela jaja, sok od jednog limuna, vanilin šećer, šećer  u prahu (po želji)
Bijela krema - 2 masnija kisela vrhnja, vanilin šećer, šećer u prahu (po želji)

Za koru je potrebno izmrviti tiber kekse i pomiješati ih sa otopljenim maslacom te 1-2 žlice šećera. Utisnuti kekse u kalup te peći samo taj dio 10 minuta na 170 stupnjeva.

Žuta krema - Pomiješati oba sira, jaja, sok od limuna, vanilin šećer te šećer u prahu. Preliti kremu preko kore i vratiti u pećnicu (170 stupnjeva) na 35-45 minuta.

Bijela krema - Izmiksati dva masnija kisela vrhnja, vanilin šećer i šećer u prahu te preliti preko žute kreme i vratiti u ugašenu pećnicu na 10 minuta.

I to je to :) Bilo bi dobro da odstoji bar preko noći kako bi keksi potpuno omekšali..




For those who like pastries, but also for those who don't like too sweet pastries, cheesecake is an ideal solution. The last time I made cheesecake I was barely able to hide one piece so I could take a picture of it... it literally disappeared in the blink of an eye.

I love making pastries, so it's not complicated for me to make this, although this cake needs few ingredients which I usually don't have at home, so going to a store is a bigger problem for me then make cheesecake :D

Ingredients you need to have in order to enjoy the flavor are:

For the crust (the lower layer): single packing od Tiber biscuits (or Leibniz biscuit), 175 g butter, 1-2 tbs of sugar
Yellow cream (layer): 200 g philadelphia cheese, 200 g Ricotta cheese, 3 eggs, juice of 1 lemon, vanillin, powdered sugar (optional)
White cream (layer): 2 sour ceam (with higher milk fat), vanillin, powdered sugare (optional)

For crust you need to crumble biscuits and mix it (by hands) with melted butter and 1-2 tbs of sugar. Press crust (biscuit) into the mold and put only this layer in the oven for 10 minutes on 170 degrees.

Yellow layer – mix both cheeses eggs, lemon juice, vanillin and sugar. Pour cream over the crust and return into the oven for 35-45 minutes.

White cream – mix the sour cream, vanillin and sugar, and pour it over the yellow layer and return into the swiched off-oven for 10 minutes.

That's it! It would be better if you leave cheesecake to rest overnight.



Još jedno super brzo jelo za ljetne dane. Kod mene prolazi i za doručak i ručak i večeru. A može biti i predjelo. Ako volite rajčicu, s ovime nećete pogriješiti.

Recept:
Na šnitu kruha (koja može a i ne mora biti lagano prepečena) rasporediti oko pola žlice maslinovog ulja, zatim kockice rajčice te mozzarelle. Ja obično stavljam fetu sir, jer mi je puno ukusniji od mozzarelle. Na kraju posipati suhim bosiljkom. I to je to! :)





Another super fast meal for summer days. I eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And it could be an appetizer too. If you like tomato, you can't go wrong with this.

Recipe:
On a slice of bread (it can be slightly overdone) place 1 tbs of olive oil, cubes of tomatoes and mozzarella. I normally use feta cheese, 'cause it is more tasty to me than mozzarella. Sprinkle over tomatoes and cheese dry basil and that's it! :)


Sada je idealno vrijeme za lagani i brzi ručak bez kuhanja ili sa minimalnim kuhanjem. Kad sam se vratila s godišnjeg bilo je već kasno za ići u dućan. Slijedeći dan kad sam se vratila s posla, gladna, umorna i prekuhana gradskom vrućinom, dočekala me prazna kuhinja. Što sad? Otvaram frižider i vidim nekoliko rajčica, paprika i krastavaca što sam ubrala večer prije. Pomiješala sam od svega po malo, dodala jedno kiselo vrhnje i tjesteninu koju sam imala u frižideru (također od večer prije), ubacila par kockica feta sira i to je to! Brzo i jednostavno. Možete još malo umiješati i majoneze. Hladno i osvježavajuće jelo koje će vas definitivno okrijepiti u ove vruće dane a neće vam teško pasti na želudac.



Now is great time  for light and quick lunch without (or with minimum) cooking. When I came back from my vacation, it was too late to go to the store. The next day when I came from work;  hungry, tired and overcooked by urban heat, I was welcomed by empty kitchen. What now? I'm opening the fridge and see few tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers which I picked evening before. I mixed everything together and add sour cream, feta cheese and some pasta from day before. Quick and simple. You can also add a bit of mayonnaise.
